It is with great delight and immense pleasure that I warmly welcome you to the NKST College of Nursing Sciences, Mkar, the Pioneer Nursing Training Institution in Northern Nigeria. The NKST church saw the health challenges within and around Nigeria that requires the need to produce eminently qualified and scientifically sound nurses, trained by well resourced lecturers.Thus the church dived into the health sector and took it upon herself to establish an institution to curb the health related issues in the country. The institution has since from inception graduated over 5,000 Nurses and Midwives across the country. The institution hence has produced Nurses and Midwives known to be disciplined, professionally efficient, intelligent,focus and well-mannered serving in Nigeria and the diaspora over the years.The college formerly known as NKST School of Nursing and Midwifery, has been producing excellent results from the Nursing and Midwifery Council exams and approaches nursing training holistically, imparting moral values, ethics, knowledge, religion and professional skills to our trainees, using the most up-to-date instructional materials, and methods, putting God in the centre of our affairs as a Christian institute.
